LayerZero Labs is hiring a Manager of Site Reliability Engineering to lead the team responsible for keeping the company's blockchain node infrastructure and platform services reliable at scale. The role owns reliability strategy across distributed-ledger node deployments — service level objectives, capacity planning, and incident response — while staying hands-on with architecture reviews and building a strong on-call and postmortem culture.
This role reflects LayerZero's continued build-out of its Vancouver-based engineering base, following a recurring pattern of SRE hiring tied to the company's growing node infrastructure footprint. It is a people-management step up from the individual-contributor SRE reqs the company has posted through 2026.
LayerZero is an omnichain interoperability protocol enabling seamless cross-chain messaging across blockchains. Developers build omnichain applications that operate across multiple networks with trustless, configurable message passing — no bridges required. LayerZero powers leading DeFi protocols, NFT platforms, and institutional applications across the Web3 ecosystem.
