Legal Counsel, Data Protection

Bitpanda, one of Europe's leading regulated crypto exchanges, is hiring a Legal Counsel specializing in Data Protection to manage its GDPR compliance program and privacy legal strategy. You will serve as the go-to expert on data protection matters as Bitpanda scales across EU markets.

• Manage Bitpanda's GDPR compliance program and data protection policies
• Advise product and engineering teams on privacy-by-design and data minimization
• Handle data subject requests, data breach notifications, and DPA correspondence
• Draft and review data processing agreements and privacy notices
• Monitor regulatory developments in EU data protection law and advise accordingly

• Law degree with specialization or strong focus in data protection / privacy law
• 3+ years of experience with GDPR compliance, ideally in fintech or financial services
• CIPP/E or equivalent data protection certification preferred
• Fluency in English; German a plus
• Ability to work independently and advise non-legal stakeholders clearly
