The Ledger Devices team is growing and wants to push secure Web3 hardware further. Ledger is hiring a senior Mechanical Engineering Lead to drive the design of next-generation products, reporting to the head of engineering and owning all mechanical architecture.
Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design and architecture decisions and complex component and structural integration
- Own the CAD and integrate antenna, PCBA and connector constraints
- Define and validate reliability testing; drive mold and tooling processes
- Own relationships with key suppliers and drive DFM and contract manufacturer delivery
- Lead CMF (color, material, finish) definition
- Prototype and debug devices in the lab; lead and mentor engineers
- Present technical trade-offs to leadership
What we are looking for
- 7+ years in consumer electronics or a transferable field (medical devices, wearables, telecom, IoT)
- Track record of shipping devices to market
- Strong CAD skills (preferably SolidWorks) and GD&T knowledge
- Proficiency in tolerance analysis and SPC study planning
- Hands-on lab and production-line troubleshooting
- Curiosity about crypto or blockchain is a plus
