Engineering Manager, Growth Foundations
Job Description
Kraken's Growth Foundations team builds the AI-native Growth Engine that enables Growth teams across the company, owning the core infrastructure behind the website, user communications and martech. This role leads and develops a team of engineers delivering high-impact features, platforms and tools that power Kraken's growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and support a cross-functional team of engineers delivering growth-critical systems
- Collaborate daily with Product and Design to define scope, priorities and execution
- Provide technical guidance on architectural and implementation decisions
- Stay hands-on in the codebase, writing production-grade code and setting the quality bar
What we are looking for
- Experience leading engineering teams and delivering high-quality results in a collaborative environment
- Solid technical foundation, especially backend; comfortable in design discussions and code review
- High proficiency with modern AI-driven development tooling
- Familiarity with TypeScript, Rust, Go or Python; experience in distributed, remote-first teams
