Crypto Production Engineer
Job Description
Jump Trading Group is committed to world-class research across Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science. The Production Engineering team supports Jump's diverse global trading infrastructure across traditional and crypto financial markets, building and managing sophisticated validator infrastructure and tooling for a top proprietary trading firm.
Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and maintain validator infrastructure and tooling
- Take responsibility for on-chain infrastructure including validators, light clients, and RPC nodes
- Improve monitoring and alerting for crypto infrastructure
- Improve security properties including key management, server hardening, and intrusion detection
- Contribute to external partnerships and public forums
What we are looking for
- Previous experience managing proof-of-stake blockchain infrastructure, preferably Solana or Ethereum
- Deep understanding of Linux, Kubernetes, monitoring/alerting (Prometheus/Alertmanager)
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Salt
- High bash proficiency plus Python/Golang/Rust
Additional Information
Annual base salary range is $150,000-$200,000 USD. Familiarity with on-chain trading, DeFi, and risk management is preferred.
