C++ Software Engineer | Crypto
Job Description
Jump Crypto is committed to building critical infrastructure needed to catalyze growth of the crypto ecosystem. As part of Jump Trading Group, a research-driven quantitative trading firm, this role collaborates with traders, quantitative researchers, and technologists to evolve and maintain trading infrastructure including feeds, gateways, and strategies.
Responsibilities
- Evolve, improve, and maintain trading infrastructure including feeds and gateways
- Solve difficult technical problems in a fast-paced environment
- Work on high-availability, high-throughput, low-latency solutions
- Gain exposure to high performance computing and trading on centralized and decentralized exchanges
What we are looking for
- 3+ years strong C++ development in Linux
- Understanding of templates and low/high-level optimization
- Experience creating and debugging multi-threaded applications
- Understanding of OS/networks for building high-performance distributed systems
Additional Information
Bonus points for Python exposure, AWS cloud infrastructure experience, and interest in cryptocurrencies and trading/execution systems. Jump Crypto started as a skunkworks intern project in 2015 and now plays an important role developing some of the largest crypto communities.
