Platform Engineer, Infrastructure
Job Description
Helius runs its global edge network and high-performance services directly on bare metal. This Platform team role is responsible for making that fleet faster to provision, safer to access, cheaper to run, and boring to deploy to. The engineer will automate the server lifecycle end-to-end and build tooling engineers use to interact with the fleet, while executing on the engineering security roadmap. No crypto background required going in.
Responsibilities
- Automate the full server lifecycle (provisioning, OS installs, configuration, hardware validation, decommissioning)
- Build and maintain internal tooling for the bare-metal fleet
- Standardize how software is built and shipped across the edge network
- Execute on the engineering security roadmap
- Reduce cost and operational overhead of the global fleet
What we are looking for
- Hands-on experience running production infrastructure at scale
- Comfort with automation/configuration-management tooling
- Strong Linux systems fundamentals
- Security-conscious approach to infrastructure access
- No prior blockchain experience required
