Head of Regulatory Affairs AI Governance

Tether is looking for a Head of Regulatory Affairs specializing in AI Governance to lead the company's engagement with regulators on the intersection of artificial intelligence and digital assets. This senior role requires deep expertise in emerging AI regulation frameworks and the ability to represent Tether's interests across multiple jurisdictions.

• Lead Tether's regulatory strategy for AI-related products and services globally
• Monitor and analyze developments in AI regulation including the EU AI Act and equivalent frameworks
• Engage directly with regulators, policymakers, and industry bodies on AI governance matters
• Build internal AI governance frameworks aligned with evolving compliance requirements
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to embed regulatory requirements into AI systems
• Manage a growing regulatory affairs team focused on AI compliance

• Deep expertise in AI regulation and governance frameworks
• Demonstrated experience engaging with financial or technology regulators
• Understanding of digital assets, stablecoins, and blockchain technology
• Strong policy analysis and stakeholder communication skills
• Law degree or equivalent regulatory background preferred
