Head of Product

Common Prefix is a blockchain research and development company solving the foundational scientific and engineering challenges that stand in the way of mainstream crypto adoption — particularly in interoperability, scalability, and usability. The company combines formal scientific research with production-grade engineering and has contributed to Axelar, XRP Ledger, the Ethereum Foundation, Sui, Flashbots, and others. Common Prefix is now seeking a full-time Head of Product to own the product function end-to-end: deciding what to build, who to build it for, and how to know it is working. The role works closely with scientists, engineers, and BD to turn deep research into products people actually want to use. Compensation ranges from $120,000 to $180,000 annually plus stock options, with unlimited PTO and a fully remote setup (or on-site in Athens, Greece). Some international travel is expected for conferences, partner meetings, and user research.

Responsibilities: Own the product roadmap; write clear specs and cut scope to ship faster; design user experience for complex on-chain interactions; run experiments and define metrics for whether a product is working; instrument products and build dashboards; run A/B tests and qualitative experiments; track competitors and on-chain user activity; run user interviews with developers, integrators, and end users.

Requirements: Shipped products to real users in crypto, DeFi, or web3 with metrics to point to; deep current knowledge of the blockchain ecosystem; strong UX sense with portfolio examples; hands-on experience with product analytics and lean experimentation; high agency, low ego, biased toward shipping; stellar written and oral English.
