Head of Financial Infrastructure Partnerships & Expansion (Digital Assets)
Job Description
Tether is seeking a leader to develop financial infrastructure solutions for banks, financial institutions, fintechs, payment companies, telcos, large enterprises and governments worldwide. The role bridges external partners and Tether's business and product teams, combining stablecoins, wallets, tokenization, payments and other Tether solutions into tailored offerings, and includes building and leading a global Financial Infrastructure Expansion team.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue opportunities with banks, fintechs, payment firms, telcos, retailers and large enterprises globally
- Design tailored solutions using the broader Tether ecosystem
- Originate, negotiate and close high-value strategic partnerships
- Coordinate customers, implementation partners and internal teams, and monitor post-launch KPIs
- Define priority markets and build a global opportunity pipeline
- Build and lead the global team, with KPIs, playbooks and commercial processes
What we are looking for
- 7+ years in banking, payments, fintech, financial infrastructure or technology business development
- Strong understanding of payments, digital assets, wallets, tokenization and settlement
- Proven record of closing large strategic partnerships
- Strong relationships with senior decision-makers at financial and enterprise firms
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
