Quant Trader (DeFi)
Job Description
GSR, crypto's capital markets partner delivering institutional-grade market making and OTC trading, is hiring a Quant Trader to drive its trading activity across decentralized markets. The role focuses on performance, risk management and opportunity identification, working alongside DeFi engineers and researchers.
Responsibilities
- Manage and improve trading strategies across decentralized venues and protocols
- Monitor trading performance, market conditions and risk exposures
- Support liquidity provisioning, principal trading and yield-generation activity
- Assess new venues, protocols and trading opportunities, sharing insights that inform strategy
What we are looking for
- Minimum 1 year of professional trading experience, ideally in complex or less liquid markets
- Strong commercial judgment and risk awareness under pressure
- Coding ability to analyse data or support trading decisions
- Degree in a technical or quantitative subject, or equivalent practical experience
Additional Information
Prior crypto or DeFi experience is beneficial but not required. GSR operates across London, the US, Singapore, Zug and Malaga.
