Global Events Financial Controller

Tether is hiring a Global Events Financial Controller to own financial management of its worldwide events program. This fully remote role oversees budget planning, cost control, and financial reporting for conferences, hackathons, and brand events across the global USDT ecosystem.

• Develop and manage annual event budgets across global markets.
• Track expenditures and reconcile financial records for all events.
• Produce post-event financial reports and variance analyses for leadership.
• Coordinate with marketing, operations, and external vendors on financial approvals.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and international regulatory requirements.

• 5+ years of financial controller or senior finance experience.
• Experience managing event or project budgets at a global scale.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliation, and cost accounting.
• Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet tools.
• Comfort working in a fully remote, async international environment.
