Quant Developer
Job Description
Gauntlet is looking for a Quant Developer to design, build, and operate the strategies behind one of the largest onchain asset managers, serving $1.5B+ in client TVL, with full ownership of strategy design, code, deployment, and production operation.
Responsibilities
- Design and ship vault strategies across RWAs, leveraged lending, yield aggregation, cross-protocol allocation, perpetuals, and prediction markets
- Optimize execution and gas-aware rebalancing
- Run protocol and asset due diligence
- Own risk parameters including supply caps, LLTV, and VaR exposure models
- Integrate new protocols and chains
- Build monitoring and alerting systems
- Support launches with growth and capital-markets teams
What we are looking for
- Track record building quantitative production systems (trading, portfolio optimization, market making, or risk)
- Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals
- Applied quant skills in optimization, statistics, and simulation
- SQL and data pipeline experience
- Production ownership and on-call experience
