FIU Lead - Singapore

BitGo is building an in-region Financial Intelligence Unit in Singapore. The FIU Lead owns transaction monitoring and blockchain investigations for BitGo Singapore, a Major Payment Institution licensed entity, as a senior hands-on individual contributor reporting to the APAC Head of Compliance.

Responsibilities

• Review, triage and disposition all transaction monitoring alerts to defined SLAs, escalating suspicious activity for STR consideration
• Design automation to reduce manual alert handling, such as rules-based auto-closure and enrichment with on-chain and KYC data
• Tune rules and thresholds based on alert volumes and typologies
• Lead deep blockchain investigations across chains, mixers, bridges and DeFi using tools such as TRM Labs, Chainalysis and Elliptic
• Independently validate monitoring scenarios and risk-scoring models
• Draft policies and playbooks aligned with MAS requirements and support MAS inspections

What we are looking for

• 5-7 years in transaction monitoring, AML/CFT or financial crime investigations at a bank, payment institution, crypto or fintech firm
• Hands-on experience with blockchain analytics tools and multi-chain tracing
• Understanding of digital asset typologies including sanctions evasion, scams and ransomware
• Working knowledge of Singapore AML/CFT requirements for DPT service providers
• Preferred: CAMS, CGSS, CCI, CBE or CFE certification and experience in a MAS-licensed entity
