Sales Engineer (Japan)

Fireblocks is a digital asset infrastructure provider whose MPC-based wallet platform is used to move, store and issue digital assets. The Sales Engineer in the Tokyo office supports the sales team across the full sales cycle, from product demo through client onboarding. The role is in-office and requires being based in Japan.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned projects and clients from product demo through onboarding
• Support the Sales team from qualification to onboarding and tailor demos to each customer
• Deliver in-depth technical presentations to C-level executives and cybersecurity professionals
• Help set up and test proofs of concept, acting as the gatekeeper to internal engineering teams
• Demo advanced API features and provide tier 1-3 knowledge transfer to customers
• Coordinate customer workshops and prepare RFP/RFx responses
• Collaborate with Account Managers, Sales Directors and Product Managers

What we are looking for

• Pre-sales or consulting experience at a fintech, crypto or cybersecurity company
• Strong technical aptitude and clear, concise communication and presentation skills
• Demonstrated interest in blockchain and crypto
• Knowledge of banking, financial services or fintech
• Ability to work with webhooks and REST APIs and do basic scripting
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Japanese
