Senior Trading Systems Developer
Job Description
FalconX, an institutional digital asset brokerage bridging traditional finance and crypto, is hiring a Senior Trading Systems Developer with strong low-latency Rust and/or Java experience to architect its electronic trading execution platform. The role works on the hot path of the execution stack, including market-data ingestion, order management, risk checks and venue connectivity.
Responsibilities
- Build scalable services using Rust and Java, optimized for latency and throughput
- Develop low-latency services on Aeron, including OMS/EMS components and market-data pipelines
- Integrate with exchange APIs using FIX, REST, WebSocket and venue-specific protocols
- Model order lifecycles and execution workflows into resilient, observable services
What we are looking for
- 5+ years of experience in trading systems, ideally with prior design ownership
- Strong background in Rust and/or Java, including concurrency and lock-free programming
- Experience building EMS/execution systems operating at microsecond latency
- Strong experience with Aeron or other high-throughput messaging frameworks
