Engineering Operations Lead

LayerZero Labs is hiring an Engineering Operations Lead to bridge protocol engineering, product delivery, and team coordination. This role is central to keeping LayerZero's development velocity high as the protocol scales across 50+ blockchain networks. Based in Vancouver, BC with remote flexibility.

• Define and implement engineering processes, sprint planning, and delivery frameworks across protocol and infrastructure teams.
• Coordinate cross-functional engineering initiatives and manage dependencies between protocol, infra, and product squads.
• Drive incident management practices, retrospectives, and continuous improvement cycles.
• Report on engineering metrics, team health, and delivery progress to leadership.
• Manage vendor relationships and support integration partnerships across the LayerZero ecosystem.

• 5+ years in engineering operations, technical program management, or a similar role.
• Experience in a fast-moving blockchain, Web3, or crypto infrastructure environment.
• Strong project management and cross-functional stakeholder communication skills.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile/scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with protocol development, node infrastructure, or smart contract engineering workflows.
