Engineering Manager, Cloud Wallet

Full-time•Hybrid•Montpellier, France (Hybrid)

Job Description

Leads the Cloud Wallet team owning backend services powering blockchain account management, transaction processing, and on-chain data aggregation across Ledger Live and Ledger Enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Lead/grow a team of backend engineers (hiring, 1:1s, career development)
  • Own roadmap/PI planning and delivery across Coin Integration, Ledger Enterprise, Ledger Live, and Infrastructure
  • Own SLIs/SLOs, incident response, and observability
  • Drive architecture decisions on a polyglot TypeScript/Scala stack handling multi-chain complexity
  • Champion CI/CD, testing (incl. testnets), code review, and AI-assisted engineering workflows

What we are looking for

  • 3+ years managing backend teams in a distributed, product-driven environment
  • Strong backend technical background able to review architecture/design docs
  • Experience with high-availability, event-driven systems and observability tooling (RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Flink, NATS, Datadog)
  • Comfort with polyglot stacks
  • Track record navigating multi-team dependencies

Additional Information

Bonus: blockchain/crypto infra exposure (account indexing, transaction lifecycle, UTXO vs. account models).
