Director of Engineering, Assets & Issuance
Job Description
Paxos engineering builds and operates the systems that move real money: stablecoin issuance, custody, trading, settlement and the ledgers beneath them. As Director of Engineering for Assets & Issuance you will own technical strategy, roadmap and delivery for the team behind Paxos' issuance platform.
Responsibilities
- Own technical strategy, roadmap and delivery for Assets & Issuance
- Stay close to code and architecture: review designs and pressure-test tradeoffs
- Hire senior engineers and managers and develop emerging leaders
- Set the standard for on-call, incident response and root-cause analysis
What we are looking for
- Proven engineering leadership in distributed systems or financial infrastructure
- Experience balancing speed to market with reliability and security
- Ability to hire, develop and lead senior engineers and managers
