Job Description
Copper, an institutional digital asset infrastructure firm built on MPC custody and its ClearLoop settlement network, is hiring a US MLRO and Financial Crimes Officer on a contract basis to handle day-to-day US AML obligations, sanctions compliance and broker-dealer compliance support.
Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day US AML obligations including SAR filing, CTR reporting and FinCEN requirements
- Manage US sanctions compliance, including OFAC screening and escalations
- Conduct AML and financial crimes risk assessments on new products and tokens
- Support client onboarding, KYC review and law-enforcement inquiries
What we are looking for
- Active FINRA licenses required (Series 7, 24 or equivalent)
- Hands-on experience as a US MLRO or Deputy MLRO
- Broker-dealer compliance experience required, with digital assets/crypto exposure
- CAMS or equivalent AML certification preferred
Additional Information
This role is deemed an Approved Persons role and requires mandatory regulatory qualifications and fitness/propriety assessments. It is a hands-on execution role on a contract basis, not a directing role.
