Controller

Ritual is hiring a hands-on Controller to build and oversee financial operations as the company scales, covering both fiat and crypto asset accounting, reporting, and compliance, working directly with founders and leadership.

• Own accounting, treasury, and financial reporting; coordinate with external accounting/tax partners
• Maintain internal controls over fiat and digital assets
• Manage company treasury including crypto/fiat holdings and stablecoin liquidity
• Support token operations: vesting, warrant tracking, treasury coordination
• Prepare investor/board materials and support fundraising due diligence
• Ensure KYC/AML compliance and risk management across financial operations

• US GAAP and startup accounting process design
• Crypto/DeFi transaction and digital asset reconciliation
• 5+ years accounting/finance experience (early-stage preferred)
• CPA or equivalent preferred
• Crypto-native financial tooling familiarity

Ritual's Controller role is unusual among crypto-native finance positions in requiring both US GAAP expertise and direct experience reconciling crypto/DeFi transactions, including treasury management of stablecoin liquidity and token vesting operations.
