Senior DevOps Engineer - Linea
Job Description
As Senior DevOps Engineer for Linea (Consensys' zkEVM Layer-2), you'll own the design, automation and reliability of Linea's infrastructure, working with AWS, Kubernetes, Karpenter, Terraform and Grafana to deliver reliable, cost-efficient mainnet services for a fast-moving blockchain business.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure supporting Linea Mainnet/L2 nodes
- Design and optimize Kubernetes clusters for scaling and resiliency, leveraging Karpenter autoscaling
- Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform for secure, audit-ready deployments
- Own monitoring, alerting and observability pipelines (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki)
- Drive automation of deployment workflows enabling zero-downtime upgrades
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis and postmortems
What we are looking for
- Senior/Staff-level AWS and advanced Kubernetes operations in production
- Proven infrastructure-as-code experience, particularly Terraform
- Proficiency in Grafana, Prometheus, Loki
- Hands-on Kubernetes autoscaling and EC2 spot instance cost optimization
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, Go or similar)
- Blockchain/L2/Web3 infrastructure experience preferred, not required
