Principal Mobile Engineer, Platform - MetaMask
Job Description
Consensys is the leading blockchain and web3 software company, founded by Joe Lubin. MetaMask's Wallet Platform organization owns client platforms for browser extension and mobile apps. As Principal Mobile Engineer, you'll be the most senior hands-on technical leader for mobile, setting architecture, defining standards, and driving cross-team initiatives on MetaMask Mobile (React Native, iOS & Android).
Responsibilities
- Own mobile platform architecture, defining React Native + native architecture tradeoffs
- Lead high-impact cross-team initiatives on performance, stability, crash rate, and bundle size
- Elevate developer experience and automation across build/test pipelines
- Mentor senior engineers and influence without authority
What we are looking for
- Deep React Native and mobile architecture experience
- Strong TypeScript/JS skills
- Track record leading performance and stability initiatives at scale
- Crypto/Web3/wallet/fintech experience a bonus
Additional Information
MetaMask is trusted by tens of millions of users as a decentralized application development platform, DEX aggregator, and identity manager. US pay range is $227,000-$272,000, not including bonus, equity, or other benefits; non-US compensation is determined by location.
