Compliance, Senior Associate (Canada)

Job Description
The Senior Associate supports Coinbase Canada's compliance program, including AML/ATF, KYC, sanctions, transaction monitoring and FINTRAC reporting, working with the Canada Chief Compliance Officer.
Responsibilities
- Own AML/ATF compliance reporting, including STR and LVCTR filings and FINTRAC-compliant submissions.
- Manage and review compliance cases, EDD reviews and high-risk escalations within SLAs.
- Monitor FINTRAC updates and legislative changes and turn them into program updates.
- Support automation of KYC, EDD and reporting processes.
What we are looking for
- 5+ years of financial crimes compliance experience (AML/ATF, KYC, sanctions), preferably in crypto or fintech.
- Working knowledge of FINTRAC guidance and the PCMLTFA.
- Understanding of crypto transaction flows and monitoring for virtual assets.
Additional Information
Coinbase is remote-first, not remote-only. The posting lists the same CAD figure as both ends of the pay range.
