Compliance KYC Manager

Paxos, a blockchain infrastructure company that tokenizes, custodies, trades and settles assets for financial institutions, is hiring a Compliance KYC Manager. The role leads the team handling customer onboarding and ongoing due diligence, combining hands-on review of complex cases with team management, policy ownership, control remediation, audit support and reporting to senior management.

• Run day-to-day KYC operations, including queues, priorities, quality and turnaround times.
• Review complex cases and escalations and document risk-based decisions.
• Manage and develop the KYC team through coaching, training and capacity planning.
• Own KYC policies, procedures and operational guidance.
• Lead remediation of control gaps and support internal and external audits and regulatory examinations.
• Manage KYC vendors and improve tooling and workflows, including automation and governed AI use.

• Deep knowledge of US KYC requirements: customer identification, beneficial ownership, CDD, EDD, risk rating and ongoing due diligence.
• Experience leading KYC operations and working in review queues.
• Proven success managing and developing a team.
• Experience remediating control gaps and audit or regulatory findings.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
