Commercial Counsel
Job Description
LI.FI, the leading cross-chain bridge and DEX aggregation protocol, is hiring a Commercial Counsel to support its growing legal function. You will handle commercial agreements, partnership contracts, and regulatory legal matters as LI.FI scales its infrastructure across the DeFi ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including API licenses, integration contracts, and vendor agreements
- Advise on legal risk in partnership and integration deals with DeFi protocols
- Support regulatory compliance strategy across relevant jurisdictions
- Manage the contracts repository and assist with entity and governance matters
- Work cross-functionally with business development, product, and finance teams
What we are looking for
- Law degree with 3-6 years of commercial legal experience
- Experience drafting and negotiating SaaS, API, or technology agreements
- Interest in or experience with DeFi, blockchain, or crypto regulations
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment
- Fluency in English; additional languages a plus
