Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO), ADGM

Coinbase is hiring a founding MLRO for its Abu Dhabi (ADGM) subsidiary. The role builds and owns the entity's AML/CTF/PF and sanctions program, manages the relationship with the FSRA, and advises business and product teams on local requirements, supported by Coinbase's global compliance infrastructure.

• Identify AML/CTF/PF and sanctions requirements for the ADGM entity and maintain policies and procedures
• Monitor FSRA and UAE regulatory developments and lead compliance changes
• Report to senior management and the Board and deliver AML/CTF/PF training
• Lead day-to-day FSRA communications and oversee risk assessments
• Remediate findings from audits and regulatory exams; embed compliance into new products

• 5+ years of AML/CTF/PF compliance experience including senior leadership
• Knowledge of UAE and Abu Dhabi financial services and AML regulation, incl. FSRA liaison
• Experience running compliance operations, audits and examinations
• Track record building a compliance program from scratch; crypto or fintech experience preferred
