Senior Security Engineer, Insider Trust
Job Description
Chainlink is the industry-standard oracle platform bringing capital markets onchain and powering the majority of DeFi. The Insider Trust Team (ITT) Senior Security Engineer leads the effort in identifying, investigating, and mitigating security policy violations and deviations from Chainlink Labs' security best practices.
Responsibilities
- Own and lead building out the Insider Trust Team's detection and investigation infrastructure
- Develop, measure, and tune detection rules in Sigma
- Drive projects on insider risks including access abuse and IP theft
- Work cross-functionally with Threat Management, People, Legal, IT, and Engineering
- Assist in sensitive investigative interviews
What we are looking for
- 7+ years conducting technical investigations / insider threat work
- Deep macOS forensics experience
- Knowledge of insider threat tactics and data exfiltration techniques
- Familiarity with modern cloud infrastructure investigations
Additional Information
Preferred: scripting in Python/Bash, detection-as-code in Sigma, and blockchain/Web3 threat domain experience, plus use of AI tools to augment investigations.
