Job Description
Chainalysis is hiring a Staff Software Engineer for its Investigations org's graphing and data platform team, architecting cloud-native ingest and aggregation pipelines that process gigabytes of blockchain data per day and power detection of market manipulation and fraud.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture of cloud-native ingest and aggregation pipelines
- Drive features that detect market manipulation and fraud
- Own high-throughput AWS services
- Lead migration to a streaming architecture
- Mentor engineers
What we are looking for
- Proven experience leading cloud-native systems on AWS or GCP
- Strong OOP background (Java, TypeScript)
- Track record mentoring and leading engineers
- Familiarity with Kafka/WarpStream, Kubernetes, Terraform, PostgreSQL a plus
Additional Information
A staff-level role at the center of Chainalysis's investigations platform, the data backbone used by government agencies and financial institutions to trace illicit blockchain activity.
