Security Engineer, Institutional Trading
Job Description
Blockchain.com is hiring a hands-on Security Engineer embedded with its Institutional Trading and Financial Operations team to secure off-chain trading processes: signing flows, key-custody interfaces, order routing, and settlement pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Map trading systems and third-party integrations
- Run structured threat-modeling assessments against institutional-grade standards (CCSS, NIST, DORA)
- Implement FinOps-specific SIEM/SOAR monitoring
- Support secrets and key-management hygiene
What we are looking for
- 5+ years in security or platform engineering
- Strong threat-modeling and detection-tooling experience
- Ability to translate technical risk into business terms for senior stakeholders
- Smart-contract auditing is explicitly not required
