Backend Engineer

The company is looking for a senior backend engineer to own meaningful parts of the user experience; if you love building high-performance systems and shipping fast, you will fit right in. You will join an all-star team of engineers and product leaders from companies like Facebook, Robinhood, and LinkedIn. • Focus on high-throughput, high-reliability trading systems with sub-second performance.
• Fully own 0-to-1 projects in a small team with no bureaucracy.

Blackwing works out of a converted loft in Williamsburg, right off the Bedford L, valuing in-person collaboration while supporting some remote flexibility. The team believes in fast feedback, shipping fast, and tasteful software. The annual salary range is $130,000 to $250,000 USD, plus equity and a token grant with early liquidity.
