Senior Software Engineer, Trading Infrastructure
Job Description
Aptos Labs is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build critical infrastructure powering trading on the Aptos Layer 1 blockchain, including APIs, indexers, node infrastructure, and SDKs used by traders and developers. This is a backend-heavy role requiring deep distributed-systems experience and comfort working close to the protocol layer.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize backend services and platform infrastructure
- Develop scalable APIs, indexing services, and data pipelines
- Build and maintain trading infrastructure for the Aptos network
- Collaborate closely with protocol, infrastructure, and product engineering teams
What we are looking for
- 5+ years shipping scalable backend systems in Rust, Go, C++, Java, or Python
- Strong background in distributed systems, databases, and API design
- Blockchain indexing or node-operations experience a plus
