Member of Accounting, Regulated Trading & Derivatives

Anchorage Digital is a crypto platform serving institutions with custody, staking, trading and settlement. This builder role supports the books, month-end close and regulatory reporting for its swap-dealer and broker-dealer entities, working directly with the Global Accounting Lead (CFO).

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations and flux analysis under US GAAP; reconcile trading, derivatives, margin, collateral and digital asset positions
• Resolve breaks and support internal and external audits
• Prepare schedules for SEC FOCUS reports, CFTC/NFA swap dealer reports and net capital computations
• Monitor SEC Rules 15c3-1 and 15c3-3 and CFTC Regulations 23.101, 23.104 and 23.150-23.161, and support regulatory exams from the SEC, FINRA, CFTC and NFA
• Set up the chart of accounts, close checklists and reporting packages; document and design internal controls (ICFR) for digital asset trading
• Automate manual work and partner with Compliance, Legal, Trading and Engineering

What we are looking for

• 8+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, ideally at a broker-dealer, swap dealer, FCM, bank, trading firm or crypto company
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA or progress toward one strongly preferred
• Solid US GAAP knowledge, including ASC 815, and an understanding of derivatives and how trades flow into the ledger
• Advanced Excel; experience with NetSuite or similar ERP and FloQast or similar close tools; SQL, Python or automation skills are a plus
• Bonus: digital asset or crypto derivatives accounting, FCM accounting, interest in stablecoin, tokenized asset and DeFi regulation, Series 27 or NFA Series 3 progress
