Technical Support Engineer (Blockchain & Backend) Headline
Job Description
Binance is hiring a Tier 3 Technical Support Engineer to resolve complex technical issues and collaborate closely with backend development teams. The focus is expert-level troubleshooting across distributed systems, with opportunities to work on Java/Spring Boot microservices, APIs and blockchain technologies supporting 24/7 stability of Binance's trading platform.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced (Tier 3) technical support with fast issue identification, resolution and escalation
- Work with Tier 1/2 support, DevOps and backend developers on code-level and system-level issues
- Design and maintain internal automation tools to reduce manual processes
- Build dashboards and monitoring to track system performance and incident trends
- Document troubleshooting processes and root cause analyses
- Support incident management for 24/7 platform stability
What we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
- 2-10 years in technical support, DevOps or backend engineering for large-scale systems
- Strong debugging skills across distributed systems and trading or payment platforms
- Proficiency with AI tools (e.g. Claude Code) for coding, QA, log analysis and task automation
- Java (preferred), Python or Rust; Linux, Kubernetes, CI/CD; MySQL tuning
- Fluent English and Mandarin for global coordination
Additional Information
Full-time remote role based in Asia (Hong Kong, Taipei, Bangkok or Dubai). Binance may use AI tools in parts of the hiring process; final decisions are made by humans.
